A recent YouGov poll has revealed that a significant majority of the British public shares this sentiment: 55% oppose the actions of Israel in Gaza, with 81% of those opposing considering it a genocide. The urgency of this situation is underscored by the strong public support for decisive measures, including:

- Trade embargoes, with a support margin of 48% to 20%

- Financial sanctions on individuals, favoured by 52% to 19%

- Suspending arms exports to Israel, backed by 57% compared to 18% opposition

These findings highlight a clear call from the public for our government to take action against this genocide.
